Full Job Description

Peace Recruitment is looking for a Health and Safety Advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety of our team members. Your primary responsibility will be to provide expert guidance and support to our workforce, implementing and monitoring health and safety procedures to mitigate risks and promote a culture of safety excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and assess risks.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies, procedures, and training programs tailored to the specific needs of our projects.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to site teams, promoting a proactive approach to safety awareness and risk management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Health and Safety Advisor, preferably within the rail or construction industry.
  •  In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards.
  •  Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to safety management.
  • Relevant qualifications in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly desirable.
