Full Job Description

When appointed Bilfinger UK Hull Tank Services Focal Point will assume all front-line management and supervision responsibilities for the safe, efficient and effective execution of all offshore workscopes including the management of specialist 3rd party subcontractors. Ensuring that key interfaces between Bilfinger and Client's offshore management are developed and maintained to encourage effective working relationships and to provide efficient, cost effective support for all platform services.,

  • Organise offshore resources required for all FPSO Hull Tank remedial tasks associated with Fabric Maintenance, Instrument Repair, Mechanical Isolation and Specialist Cleaning activities in an effective manner, ensuring quarterly KPI targets are met.

  • Raise all relevant control of work permits for all Hull Tank services requirements and task execution.

  • Attend campaign planning meetings with offshore and onshore campaign team representatives.

  • Ensure customer enquiries and requests are followed up in a timely manner and that any anticipated shortfalls are promptly identified.

  • Report workscope progress, operational difficulties, commercial variations and drive the management of change as appropriate.

  • Align the offshore team's goals to Client/Bilfinger UK business drivers, whilst promoting a high standard of workmanship from the Hull Tank Services Team and those under your remit.

  • Promote a high standard of workmanship from the multi-discipline team by utilising technical support from onshore/offshore discipline representatives.

  • Daily planning of all Bilfinger UK activities in the most effective manner, ensuring that all risks are identified and minimised to ALARP.

  • Conduct regular worksite audits on Bilfinger UK activities.

  • Adopt safe working practices and promote the client and Bilfinger UK safety cultures.

  • Inform platform and contractor management of all incidents, accidents and near misses as they occur and ensure that all relevant documentation is completed timeously.

  • Provide accurate and detailed estimates for offshore work scope progress reporting and forecast updates.

  • Ensure the most efficient utilisation of Plant, Equipment and materials result in meeting performance targets.

  • Complete all admin functions associated with role.

  • IRATA certification - experience of managing daily Rope Access tasks

  • Rigging Stage 3 or 4 competencies desirable but not essential

  • TMJI 10, 19 or MJI 10 & 19 Experience preferred although not essential as training can be provided

  • Broad knowledge of management reporting requirements, offshore safety systems/procedures

  • Relevant coating inspection certification, NACE or ICORR Level 2 desirable but not essential

  • BP eCOW PA Status desirable but not essential as training can be provided

  • Ability to clearly demonstrate leadership skills that will contribute to the safety culture of the asset team,

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, (Excel, Word, Outlook)
