Hygiene Manager - Back Shift

Connect Appointments is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join one of our premium manufacturing clients in Broxburn as a Hygiene Manager.

This full-time permanent opportunity offers the chance to work on the back shift team, Monday to Friday from 14:00 to 22:00.

As the Hygiene Manager, you'll ensure staff compliance with hygiene procedures and protocols, maintaining impeccable standards. Your responsibilities include:

• Ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols
• Planning, implementing, and analysing hygiene policies and Standard Operating Procedures
• Managing and cleaning an area each shift as part of the hygiene team
• Auditing hygiene operator's work and completing paperwork
• Managing stock and contracts for cleaning products, equipment, and services
• Motivating and engaging employees, supporting their training and development
• Assisting with audits and mentoring staff
• Maintaining factory GMP/Hygiene standards to exceed customer expectations
• Managing staff, including absence and holidays, and updating the time and attendance system
• Communicating effectively with the team, managing their attendance, development, and performance

To thrive in this Hygiene role you should ideally have experience in production or manufacturing, with proven team management skills. Key attributes include excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to motivate others.
