Full Job Description

We are searching for an experienced Inside Sales Team Leader to play a crucial part of the building phase of the Inside Sales team.

The Inside Sales Team is a new team in the European organisation who will be responsible for building our processes and procedures focusing on high account load and low spend accounts within the Aftermarket sector.

Through a remote sales approach, the team will maintain and expand our current Inside Sales Accounts and convert Reactivated Accounts with a secondary focus on introducing new business via in-bound and out-bound accounts.

Reporting to the Aftermarket Sales Director Europe, the Inside Sales Team Leader will have leadership responsibility for 5-10 team members, starting with a small team of 3 and growing to approximately 10 as we establish our processes and drive sales within this sector.

What We Need You To Do

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, lead, and motivate a team of 5 to 10 Inside Sales professionals.

  • Conduct daily reviews of team members' performance and provide constructive feedback.

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.


  • Sales Strategy and Playbook Development
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve team targets.

  • Implement best practices and continuously improve sales methodologies.


  • AccountManagement
  • Manage & drive sales primarily through calls, emails, LinkedIn, website utilization.

  • Efficiently manage sales pursuit through identifying, landing and expanding opportunities within designated inside sales accounts.


  • Collaboration

    Collaborate with New Build Team, with Product Specialists and Marketing on a case by case basis

    Reporting

    Provide weekly progress reports (team achievements, challenges, and plans for improvement).

  • Proven experience in leading sales teams

  • Good negotiator and deal closer

  • Previous experience of building new processes and procedures

  • Demonstrated ability to work across the organisation with different functions, countries and stakeholder groups in a matrix environment.

  • Ability to communicate customer needs across the organisation

  • Good at organizing and finding the right resources within Howden / Chart

  • Ability to articulate the value proposition.

  • Technical knowledge of relevant product portfolio

  • Experienced user of CRM Systems and Smart Pricing tools

  • Communicate verbally and written in English business language
