Full Job Description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included. 

The shift pattern for this is 1100-1730 Monday to Friday.

(Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.

We provide services Across New Victoria ACH, WGACH, Stobhill ACH, Stobhill Mental Health (Forensic, Adolescent and Adult/Older Persons) and Community locations across the North and East of Glasgow and East Dunbartonshire. The community locations includes 3 Ambulance Stations, Decontamination Unit, 12 Health Centres and 8 resource centres with approximately 360 staff

This role will undertake the Supervision of staff cleaning patient areas, clinical and non-clinical departments, offices and administration areas to comply with national standards of cleanliness, providing patient catering at ward level, patient laundering and messenger services within  various health care environments. Responsibilities will include for example, allocating staff resources, auditing of services, input payroll information, plan and carry out staff training, liaise with service users and department leads.

This post is based on Stobhill campus.

Driving Licence is preferred.
