Interim Finance Analyst

Interim Finance Analyst job (Hybrid) with a high-growth FMCG business based in Glasgow for an initial 6-month period.

Reporting to the FP&A Lead, you will be responsible for:

• Analysing sales performance to provide insight to the leadership team to continue to drive profitable growth for the business
• Analysing profit and loss accounts to support the profitability of business partners
• High volume data cleansing to aid the efficiency of analysis and reporting requirements ensuring reporting tools are utilised to full effectiveness
•  Assisting in implementing MI reporting requirements
• Supporting with the analysis of both financial and non-financial information, identifying patterns, trends and opportunities for business growth or cost reduction
• Carrying out validations and integrity checks on data
• Offering ad hoc analysis support to FP&A lead

The Individual:

• Ability to analyse and interpret large data sets to provide insightful, accurate analysis of complex financial information
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and reporting tools (Qlik Sense Analytics experience advantageous)
• Good problem-solving skills and a solution-driven approach to work
