Interim Management Accountant

Rutherford Cross is delighted to be supporting our well-established client for an Interim Management Accountant opportunity based in Glasgow for a 6-month period.

This role will report directly to the Head of Finance and be responsible for:

• With support from a small account processing team, you will be responsible for producing accurate and timely monthly management accounts for a group company
• Preparing quarterly forecasts and annual budgets is also required, as is preparation for the year-end audit and liaising with the auditors as required
• Preparing accurate and timely monthly management accounts and preparation of monthly pack
• Monthly Balance Sheet analysis
• Supporting with preparation of job / project P&L reports on a monthly basis
• Preparing monthly journals: fixed assets / overheads accruals and prepayments / tax accruals prepayments / HP journals

To apply, you must be fully qualified or ‘Qualified by Experience’. Good communication skills with colleagues in the business, finance team and with customers and suppliers will be essential, as well as time management skills. This role will be based near Glasgow City Centre and will pay £45-55k.
