Role Overview: As an IoT Firmware Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and optimising firmware for the IoT devices. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to implement advanced features, optimise power consumption, and ensure seamless integration with Bluetooth connectivity. Your expertise will contribute to the advancement of our autonomous monitoring solutions, driving innovation in the subsea industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimise firmware for IoT devices, focusing on efficient data transmission and low-power operation.
  • Implement Bluetooth connectivity protocols and optimise wireless communication performance.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate firmware with subsea sensors and components.
  • Conduct DSP (Digital Signal Processing) development to enhance signal processing capabilities.
  • Ensure firmware compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in IoT development, including firmware design and optimization.
  • Strong proficiency in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocols and wireless communication.
  • Experience with DSP development and signal processing algorithms.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
