Full Job Description
We are looking for IT Support Analysts to join us on a temporary basis (3 months) to assist with an Office Moves project in Aberdeen. The successful candidates will be placed within a team of established prosource.it engineers on a client site and will be supported by the team. We are looking for confident, customer focussed and self-motivated individuals who possess a proactive, positive, can-do attitude. Candidates must have the confidence to deal with users and stakeholders at all levels of the business. Ideally you will have a background in IT, either from work experience, College or University, technical certifications/qualifications or all of the above. In addition, candidates must be customer focussed, hardworking, show initiative and work well in a team.
What you'll do;
- Undertake IT moves and equipment set up including disconnection and packing
- Move IT apparatus and boxes using appropriate equipment, crawl under desks and use tools to adjust cabling
- Loading and unloading hardware for transport
- Setting up Desks from scratch including all IT hardware
- Cabling and configuring new desktop setup
- Configuring of desks with reference to the desired layout
- Completion of quality and testing checklists
- Ensure work is carried out within agreed service levels and in accordance with client and Health and Safety guidelines
- Follow the instruction of the lead engineers onsite
Some understanding of end user support and troubleshooting would be beneficial - Background in IT either from work experience, College, University or through technical certification
- Previous experience of IT equipment moves and setup would be highly advantageous but is not essential
- Confident with the ability to deal with users and stakeholders at all levels within the business
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Proactive, positive and can-do attitude
- Self-motivated and willing to roll sleeves up and work as part of a team
