IT Support Apprentice

Brodies are looking to expand their helpdesk team in Edinburgh by recruiting an IT Modern Apprentice! This apprentice will be working towards an SCQF Level 8 Diploma.

What's involved?

+ Providing first line technical support and answering helpdesk calls in a timely fashion
+ PC troubleshooting via telephone and remote control of the users computer or at their desk
+ Supporting remote workers using Virtual Private Network (VPN), portal and web-based access
+ Assisting with setting up new colleagues on various systems
+ Installing software and applications updates
+ Setting up and supporting audio visual equipment in client-facing areas
+ System administration
+ Keeping technical systems and knowledge up to date
+ Assisting the IT Team with the implementation and support of new software and hardware

+ Good time keeping and attendance, On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 8.
