Full Job Description

William Simpsons is a registered charity and 71 bed residential care home which enables adults living with a mental health diagnosis, cognitive impairment, ARBD and other substance abuse related conditions, to get the very best out of life.

  • Experience of food preparation in a commercial kitchen environment.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Experience of record keeping and regulatory compliance.

  • Experience of stock control and ordering supplies.

  • A team member, providing support to fellow colleagues and the ability to multi task in a fast paced environment.

  • Flexibility to work week days and weekends.


  • As you will be working with vulnerable adults, you will be required to join Disclosure Scotland's PVG Scheme.

    We are recruiting a Kitchen Porter to join our vibrant team on a Part-time basis and can commit to 21 hours per week.
