Playing an important and vital role within the Taymouth Castle project our two Laundry Assistants within the Laundry Department are part of our dynamic Residential Services team. They ensure that each item that passes through the department is carefully assessed and cleaned using the latest in laundry equipment. Each item treated with the utmost of care by following the recommended washing guidelines associated with that item. With the support and guidance of the Laundry Manager deliver an exceptional service while maintaining efficiency, quality, compliance, and standards throughout the laundry operations.

Part of a close-knit team the Residential Services Department is spread across the whole estate working and collaborating with colleagues throughout the various areas of the club to create memorable moments for our members and visiting guests making sure each visit is unique.

The department oversees the laundry and dry-cleaning service of colleague's uniforms including chef whites. All suites and residence linen, towels, food and beverage linen, spa linen. Identifying stained or damaged items and determining the status for repair; spot treatment and rewashing or appropriately highlighting damaged items to the Laundry Manager discarding and removing as necessary from circulation to ensure quality standards are met.

Operating industrial scale laundry equipment, including washers, dryers and pressing machines. Carefully sorting and pre-treating items according to their fabric type, colour, and cleaning requirements. Following established procedures for washing, drying, ironing, folding laundry and placing carefully in storage to maintain freshness and quality standards.

Consistently delivering the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation you genuinely enjoy cleaning and maintaining standards. You take huge pride in transforming dirty items into the highest standard of freshly cleaned and pressed laundry. Each item and uniform prepared and ready for use by colleagues as they start their shift or by the Housekeeping Assistants in preparation for our members and visiting guests at their 'home from home.'

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be warm and friendly and enjoys being part of a team with a 'can-do' approach. Is open to seeking advice and support when needed with a desire to play a part in ensuring our members; their families and friends have memorable stays time and time again.
