We are looking for an experienced Nurse that will lead, direct and manage an agreed portfolio of clinical across the Health and Social Care Partnership; ensuring effective, sustainable and reliable delivery of care and service in line with local and national priorities.

The Western Isles is one of the most beautiful settings in which to live and work in Scotland. The post offers the opportunity to combine a challenging but fulfilling remit with an excellent quality of life, at a time when the future delivery of health and social care services has never been so topical.

The post also offers a rare opportunity for career fulfilment and development. NHS Western Isles Health Board is proud to employ around 1050 members of staff. We recognise that people who work in our teams are central to ensuring that we deliver the highest quality of safe and effective person-centred care.

This post is part of the Health and Social Care Senior Management Team alongside the Chief Officer which works closely and collaboratively to enhance the services of NHS Western Isles for the health and wellbeing of our community.

Working for an Island Board provides opportunity for close collaboration with partners and exposure to a varied service remit.

We believe that we are well-placed to meet the challenges we face within Health & Social Care, and are committed to considering and supporting well-developed ideas for innovation and development, while maintaining a focus on reliable, high-quality services within NHS Western Isles.

If you are looking for a rewarding new challenge in one of the most beautiful areas of Scotland and you believe you have the skills, determination, and drive we are seeking then I would very much look forward to receiving your application.

We pride ourselves as an organisation that is at the forefront of innovation whilst delivering truly person-centred care services for our patients.
