Lead Service Technician

In this role, you will oversee the maintenance of our fire protection equipment for Marine clients whose vessels frequent ports across the UK. • Perform servicing, installation, maintenance, and repair tasks adhering to quality and safety protocols.


• Present a professional image of Survitec during customer engagements, handling technical queries effectively.


• Aid in the setup and testing of new products or procedures.


• Carry out preventive maintenance checks and pinpoint repair needs.


• Collaborate with the Service Operations Manager to organize monthly schedules and ensure sufficient staffing levels.


• Maintain precise stock records and adhere to requisition procedures.


• Supervise a team of apprentice/junior technicians, providing leadership and guidance.
  
  Prior experience in a similar role


• Strong understanding of portable fire extinguishers


• Strong understanding of breathing apparatus


• Proficient in fire suppression systems (CO2, Novec, FM-200)


• Background in the marine industry is beneficial.
