Belong to a close team with big influence.

Who we are:

ICAS is a global professional body for Chartered Accountants, we educate, examine and lead, enabling excellence whilst always working for the wider public good. Formed by the Royal Charter in 1854, we have trained a lot of CAs since then, and in any given year thousands of students are working with us to achieve the ‘chartered’ goal.

We have a membership of 23,000 qualified CA’s, a qualification that has shaped an international business community spanning industries and continents.

What the job is:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual who takes pride in their work, with a keen eye for detail and is experienced in editing digital content to join our small digital learning team, as we roll out our new digital first CA 24 programme.  Our digital learning team’s focus is in delivering high-quality student-centred content, to support our new CA 24 programme which is clear and easy to access.

As Learning Materials Production Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all our new and updated CA24 learning materials are online, fit for purpose and ready for our students to access. You will be responsible for the creation, publishing and maintenance of our online digital friendly learning materials, resources, and interactive tools for students, in collaboration with Learning colleagues, ensuring that content is clear, complete and the required quality and brand standards of our published materials are consistently met.

Who do we need?

You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively and professionally across all levels. You will have advanced level skills in Microsoft word and excel, a proven track record in writing and editing content to a high-quality standard for a range of audiences, alongside experience in document production and publication. Experience of PDF formatting and publishing and the Adobe suite is an advantage, although training can be given. Experience with ePublishing and VitalSource is also desirable.

You will have the ability to work individually to set deadlines and enjoy working collaboratively with others, a good team player with a positive attitude who can manage their time effectively and work to changing priorities.

In addition to a competitive base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including an employer pension scheme (9%), a generous holiday package (Up to 35 days including public holidays and the option to buy and sell), training and development opportunities, birthday day off and up to 3 days paid volunteering days to support charitable activities.

ICAS places equality, diversity, and inclusion at the heart of all that we do. With our partner organisations, we are committed to building a diverse membership and workforce that is beneficial for all, and that enables our communities to learn, grow and advance together.

Closing date: 8 May 2024

This is an exciting time to join ICAS, so if you are looking for a new challenge, in a small organisation where you can play a big part and role your sleeves up, this might be the job for you.

We very much look forward to hearing from you.
