Line Chef

This position will require the successful candidate to work on a what can be a very busy pass, executing the following tasks to a high standard:

• Setting up the kitchen prior to service starting


• Presenting dishes in line with company standards


• Managing what can be a very full and demanding cheque rack


• Prioritising tables in line with front of house requests


• Liaising with front of house with regard to queries regarding allergies and specific customer requests


• Working as part of an amazing team of line chefs, bringing together their dishes at the same and right time


• Closing down the kitchen to a high standard of hygiene


• Ensuring all stock is stored in the correct fridges and date labelled accordingly


• Assisting with stock ordering and completing temperature control records


This position has come about so to allow one of the owners to step off the pass a little, so to allow him to focus on the running of the business. The existing team is a phenomenal one, and does not require someone to come and manage them, but to work with them, and build on their skills.

Our cooking style is home cooked soul food, where everything is prepared freshly each day on site.

We are searching for someone who can listen to the owners, present dishes as requested, work as part of a great team, and work what can be a very challenging and busy pass.
