Full Job Description

  • Report to the Management team on customer KPI's, service level agreements and financial targets.

  • Expediting - Liaise with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods.

  • Communicate with the warehouse regarding all aspects of the incoming and outgoing workflow

  • Maintain inventory and electronic update to WMS.

  • Ensure successful planning and completion of shipments through communication with client and operations department., Liaise with other DSV/Agent's offices in the UK and abroad, reporting any discrepancies or specific requirements.

  • Ensure legislative compliance in all areas.

  • Ensure that the company operates within all agreed operational procedures, and within statutory requirements including the provision and maintenance of a safe working environment.

  • Arrange with approved hauliers for transport of cargo, confirm availability of equipment and agree prices where no tariff exists, to maximise cost effectiveness.

  • Communicate efficiently and effectively with internal and external customers, suppliers, and other offices, as required.

  • Maintain awareness of and follow HMRC regulations, where relevant, to conform to all statutory requirements.

    Forwarding or relevant trade qualification

  • 2 Years of related Work Experience

  • 4 GCSE's or equivalent

  • Administration Skills


  • C2C experience

  • Literate & Numerate

  • Health & Safety awareness

  • Strategic Planning

  • CargoWise 1 experience

  • Financial, interpersonal, communication and computer skills

  • Security Awareness Level 4 (Airfreight Export)

  • Dangerous Goods (Air & Ocean)
