Machinery Engineer

As a Machinery engineer you're responsible for demonstrating Engineering leadership by providing Technical support to the Process and Maintenance organization in matters related to rotating equipment.,

• Rotating equipment monitoring and fleet performance analysis, identifying opportunities to continuously improve process safety and reliability of the plant


• Providing engineering guidance and recommendations to the Process and Maintenance organizations, based on root cause failure and bad actor analysis, during operational events and standard operations


• Maintaining technical standards, implementing global best practices and deploying new technology, following a structured change process


• Providing engineering support for major capital projects during the design, commissioning and start-up phase
  
  Hold a Mechanical Engineering degree (or an equivalent subject)


• Have relevant rotating equipment or machinery engineering experience in an operational environment, e.g. Petrochemical or Utilities industry.


• Be or willing to work towards being a Chartered Engineer, as defined by the Engineering Council or equivalent


• Successful candidates should possess a broad range of personal effectiveness and leadership skills, with the ability to facilitate and influence business decisions in a team environment.
