Full Job Description

Our Client who manufactures some of the most advanced technology in the World has an Opportunity for a time-served Maintenance Elelectrician to work at their modern site in Renfrewshire.  This role offers excellent career development opportunities through its on-going commitment to training and development.

 

 

The Role:

  • Delivering all aspects of the maintenance of the site electrical infrastructure at the Renfrewshire Environmental Test Facility Site.
  • Owning and delivering the schedule relating to planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and utilisation records.
  • Managing the site LOTO process.
  • Support the delivery of safe systems of work for all buildings, plant and equipment in to ensure that plant and equipment is readily available for use by the engineering and trials departments on all shifts.
  • Responsibility for all electrical maintenance records kept and updated in SAP system.
  • Support Continuous Improvement of facilities and facility processes.
  • Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and he Site Facility Manager in relation to Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive Maintenance.

 

 

Essential Experience:

  • Should be educated to Higher National Certificate (HNC), in an engineering or related discipline.
  • 17th/18th Edition qualified with experience of completing electrical installations to the required regulatory standards with experience in a relevant electrical role post formal training.
  • Experience of electrical fault finding

 

Desirable:

  • HV Authorised Person
  • Ability to organize and manage all aspects of a maintenance tasks and work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, both internal and external, at all levels within the organisation
