Maintenance Engineer

Biscuit bakery looking to employ full time, permanent Maintenance Engineer ideally with mechanical/electrical knowledge.

Main task will be assisting the engineering side in setting up machinery and all aspects of maintenance in and around the bakery and offices.

Ideally the candidate should have basic understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems. Experience gained in a previous/current maintenance role would be beneficial, however other relevant background experience will be considered for the right candidate. Most important factors are common sense and the ability to work unsupervised, on own initiative when required.

The successful candidate will provide holiday cover for the Engineering Manager.

Hours are 7am until 4pm Monday to Thursday and 7am to 3.30pm Friday - weekends free.

A driving licence and own transport is essential and you will be part of a small production team within a good working environment. Please note this position is in Callander (FK17) and close proximity to this location is preferred as potential out of hours work may be required at short notice.
