Management Accountant

Hays Accountancy & Finance are recruiting on behalf of their established & exclusive manufacturing client for a permanent Management Accountant to join their team. Salary is 45,000 - 50,000 depending on experience + 30 days annual leave, 7% pension, hybrid working and a half day on a Friday.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will provide accurate and timely financial, cost and management accounting information for statutory and business purposes. You will complete monthly management accounting including variance analysis to support the senior management team for the purpose of business decision-making. You will prepare weekly sales projections & forecasting. You will complete P & L reporting, balance sheet reconciliations & journals including prepayments & accruals. You will complete extensive financial analysis including various weekly & monthly reports on cost & stock accounting. You will finance business partner with various internal & external stakeholders. You will also assist the Financial Controller with some financial accounting responsibilities including VAT and year-end.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Management Accountant with strong financial analysis skills. You will ideally have experience within a manufacturing company but this is not essential. You will have excellent finance business partnering skills with an ability to liaise with internal & external stakeholders. You will have strong IT skills including Excel. SAP experience is a bonus but not essential.
