Manager, Technical Support - Europe / CIS (Aberdeen)

You will join our team of 7 dedicated employees, based in Portlethen (Aberdeen) and you will report to the Operations Director.

Your multidisciplined technical knowledge will be utilised to drive the delivery of our services and products. You will provide support to our sales, service and operations team, manage projects and pull together solutions for our customers. You will also work directly with our customers to support digital drilling focused services and electronics and instrumentations systems.

As a person you are well organised and have excellent time management skills to ensure that your deliverables are available accurately and on time.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing technical support for sales, service and parts.


• Owning projects from start to finish.


• Developing and drive specific solutions in conjunction with sales and service.


• Working in conjunction with the digital and service teams to maximise customer engagement with customers on off the shelf solutions as well as helping to develop new solutions.


• Supporting the sales team to afford them customer focus time.


• Providing technical support for sales activities such as bid proposal preparation, technical design options, and other technical services


• Providing technical support for marketing activities such as presentations, demonstrations, and technology launches.
  
  Multi-disciplined technical understanding (electrical, electronic, digital, drilling, project management, sales and operations).


• Understanding of the drilling process and the ability to interpret drilling data.
