Marine / Boat Mechanica

Aqua-Tech Recruitment are currently working on behalf of one of our key clients who are seeking a skilled Boat/Marine Mechanic to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in working with various types of marine engines and systems. From routine maintenance to complex repairs, the Boat/Marine Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, performance, and longevity of our clients' vessels., Perform routine maintenance tasks such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot engine and mechanical issues on various types of boats and marine vessels.
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems including engines, transmissions, steering mechanisms, electrical systems, and fuel systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and recommend preventative measures to avoid future issues.

Proven experience as a Mechanic, preferably in a dealership, repair shop, or boatyard (or similar industry)
- In-depth knowledge of marine engines, propulsion systems, and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, equipment, and specialized software for engine analysis and troubleshooting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
