Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, bright and enthusiastic candidate to join the Marketing & Business Development team at one of Scotland's Big four independent law firms.

You will create, support and drive marketing activity, implement firm-wide plans and coordinate client events. You will assist the team with a variety of marketing, administrative and coordination tasks, including digital, brand, communications and events, which will support the wider ambitions and strategic objectives of the firm, individual divisions and colleagues.

You will learn from our experienced and established in-house team, as well as our external partners that cover PR, online and digital and brand development.

Key Tasks

  • Manage our content including updating the content calendar, uploading to the website and create digital assets (podcast snippets and graphics).

  • Performing website updates and social media management and monitoring.

  • Support the team in managing projects from ideation to reporting.

  • Create and activate internal communication plans and content.

  • Coordinate new start and leaver process, including coordinating photography.

  • Design and edit brochures, email campaigns and surveys.

  • Assist with firm-wide marketing activities, which support our strategic objectives, and ensuring that marketing, administrative and coordination support and assistance is provided to divisions and key stakeholders across the business.

    Applicants should have some general work experience, preferably in a similar role within professional services. Although not essential, a qualification in law, marketing, business studies or a related discipline would be advantageous.

  • You are personable and good at building and developing client relationships.

  • You are confident and you have a strong belief in yourself and your own ability.

  • You are committed to providing a good client experience and willing to put in extra time and effort when required.
