Full Job Description

Eden Scott is delighted to be retained by ERIBÉ Knitwear, to recruit an experienced marketing professional for the position of Marketing Manager. 


Established in 1986, ERIBÉ is an award-winning knitwear design house and craft manufacturer based in the Scottish Borders. The company is renowned as a “cottage industry gone global” and boasts an avid fan base around the world. Its collections are available at over 600 prestigious stores in 22 countries worldwide, offering traditional yet uniquely modern Scottish knitwear for both men and women. ERIBÉ operates with a team of 60 colleagues spread across several locations. 


As Marketing Manager, you will be directly responsible for driving business growth by implementing and managing marketing strategies primarily aimed at the business to business (B2B) markets as well as looking at direct to consumer opportunities (B2C). 


You will report directly into the Managing Director with a dotted line to Rosemary Eribé CEO and founder of ERIBÉ Knitwear.  


This is ‘hands-on’ role, you will assume responsibility for all marketing activity including but not limited to graphic design, content marketing, digital marketing, Photo Shoots etc. Using your breadth of knowledge and experience you will ensure the ERIBÉ marketing function leads the brand in the right direction. 


Main Duties


As part of the ERIBÉ management team you will be responsible for:


  • Planning, creating, and implementing marketing campaigns. Adept at post campaign analysis and review. 
  • Understanding the business market and its challenges through analysis of market trends and product positioning opportunities.
  • Developing the marketing roadmap for all segments of the business.
  • Assisting with trade shows and advertising creation.
  • Collaborating with the sales team to understand the customer journey and how best to develop targeted marketing strategies.
  • Maintaining a strong brand image reflecting ERIBÉ heritage, ethos values and approach.
  • Developing strong relationships with all other teams in the business, specifically sales, design, and customer service to ensure the marketing strategy aligns with the overall business goals. 
  • Ensuring the company’s online presence meets the highest of standards and drives the right results. 
  • Supporting the growth strategy for Ecommerce along with sales. 
  • Providing analytics and evaluation to demonstrate the ecommerce positioning. 
  • Developing suitable brand ambassadors for ERIBÉ
  • The generation of all marketing material in collaboration with the design team to ensure that this reflects the ethos and spirit of the business.
  • Managing and collaborating with all external marketing & graphics partners. 
  • Demonstrating return on campaign investment in business growth and visibility.
  • Content management consulting with the Founder/CEO to agree approach.
  • Managing the marketing budget.
  • Managing B2C team member.
  • Developing methods to ensure that B2B customers are fully supported with all necessary material to develop and grow the Brand.
  • Engage with the customers so they feel a values part of the ERIBÉ family. 

Qualifications & Experience 


  • Previous marketing experience and a solid understanding of the B2B landscape.
  • Previous experience in fashion, textiles or premium consumer products / brands is highly desirable. 
  • International experience across multiple markets. 
  • Degree qualified and CIM qualified or similar. (Experience will be considered in lieu of formal qualifications)
  • Strong understanding of sales strategies, market trends, and customer/consumer needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strategic relationships.
  • Financial acumen and experience in contributing to overall business strategy.
  • Previous communications and PR experience and managing press releases.
  • Strong CRM and ERP experience and email marketing.
