Boortmalt has an immediate opening for a qualified Mechanic at our malt processing plant in Biggar, SK. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role is an integral member of the plant maintenance team responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing equipment in a safe and cost effective manner and participate fully in the plant safety program.,

• 50% Perform scheduled preventative and predictive maintenance on plant assets, including equipment rebuilds, asset replacement, and lubrication duties as assigned. Keeping Document control.


• 30% Perform corrective maintenance on plant assets resulting from preventative maintenance issues as they arise.


• 10% - Participate in meetings, training activities, and in plant safety and food safety programs.


• 5% - Respond to unexpected breakdowns and perform critical repairs as required.


• 5% - Other projects and activities as assigned.
