Full Job Description
- Produce required products meeting company standards to planned volume and schedule.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality, food safety, hygiene, ethical, product labelling and allergen handling processes.
- Follow traceability process and always ensure product & labelling integrity.
- Keep and maintain appropriate records as required.
- Ensure own familiarity and compliance with company policies and procedures, standards of operation and safe operating procedures.
- Operate mincer machine adhering to protocol and safety procedures whilst using own initiative.
- Ensure consistent and timely attendance at work.
- Provide flexibility to meet company operating requirements.
- Provide pro- and re-active and supportive verbal and written communication to team members, supervisors, and managers.
- To ensure all Scotbeef products are manufactured to the Food Safety & Brand Integrity requirements defined by our customers' requirements & BRC standards.
Good level of spoken and written English. - Results driven.
- Great attention to detail.
- Good communication skills
- Experience in operating a Kolbe, Thomson or Seydelmann mincer is desirable.
- Experience of understanding and following recipe sheets is desirable.
- Able to work independently with minimal guidance, knowing that support is in place if required.
- Flexible, adaptable and keen to support others' development.
- Collaborative team player.
- Accreditation Food Hygiene equivalent at minimum level 2.
- Speaking, writing and understanding spoken and written English language. (This is an essential health & safety, traceability, management and quality control requirement which will be tested as part of the recruitment process).
- Good numeracy skills.
