ML Engineer

At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, 'anchor', days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). What will you be doing?

• Comprehending agile development methodology and practicing it in day to day work


• Ensuring DevOps principles are adopted in applications


• Undertaking analysis of change requests incidents against applications /products within domain


• Taking accountability for story based development & unit test and adherence to all coding standards


• Being accountable for application development & unit testing


• Documenting all work in accordance with agreed standards, and with re-use in mind


• Reporting progress in JIRA against assigned activities in a timely manner


• Being supportive within the team, both technically and culturally
  
  Knowledge of AWS


• Experience with Python


• Awareness of PySpark


• Knowledge of Agile


Skills that will help you in the role:

• Knowledge of Containerization


• Familiarity with Unix & Shell Scripting


• Knowledge of Corporate Software Development Lifecycle
