An exciting opportunity to join our Roads team in Stirling Council for 2 Modern Apprentice Civil Engineer Technicians. In these 2 year posts, you will work within the Service to learn a variety of skills within the role including Road and Bridge Maintenance, Flooding and Drainage Management, Roads Design and Construction and Estimating and Quantity Surveying. You should enjoy working both indoors and outdoors.
As a Modern Apprentice, you will work towards the qualifications within the Construction Technical Framework at SCQF 7 and an HNC in Civil Engineering.
You must have the following qualifications to apply – Two Highers at C or above including maths (mandatory), English and /or a science/technical subject such as (physics or chemistry, engineering studies) plus three National 5 awards (or equivalent) including a technical or science subject.Requirements
You will be 16-19 years old and be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm this role and have a commitment to learn.
This opportunity is funded through the Modern Apprenticeship scheme and candidates between 20-29 years old may be eligible for enhanced funding if you have a disability or are care experienced.
