Music Instructor Violin/Viola - Aberdeenshire Schools - Maternity Cover

Aberdeenshire Instrumental Music Service seeks an enthusiastic and highly motivated Violin/Viola Instructor to work in Alford and Inverurie Academies and surrounding schools.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team of instrumental music instructors working in Aberdeenshire schools. Duties will include preparation for exams and extra-curricular activities. Ideally the candidate will have experience in digital delivery of instrumental music lessons.

This is a part time position, 4 days per week, Fixed Term for a period not exceeding 11 October 2024.

GTCS registration is not required for this post.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

This post is regulated work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months in the last 5 years outside of the UK, an Overseas Criminal Record Check must be obtained. The candidate is responsible for obtaining this check. A confirmed offer of employment is dependent on the outcome of both these checks being satisfactory.
