Full Job Description

Scottish Recovery Consortium (SRC) is looking for a pro-active, team player to join the multi-disciplinary Medication Assisted Treatment Standards Implementation Support Team (MIST). As an employee of the Scottish Recovery Consortium (SRC), reporting to SRC Chief Executive & Public Health Scotland MISTQ Team the successful post holder will have a unique opportunity to support the implementation of the Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Standards created to improve addiction services and reduce drug related deaths in Scotland. The postholder will work with a range of organisations and people across the alcohol, drug and recovery sectors in Scotland e.g. third sector organisations, NHS, Public Health Scotland, people with lived experience, NHS staff and family members of people accessing treatment. Your role will be to: To design, develop and deliver training in association with MISTQ Experiential Team and the SRC s Learning, Education and Development Officers. Support Alcohol & Drug Partnerships (ADPs) local team of interviewers, to collect experiential evidence on an ongoing basis, to use this evidence to support local quality improvement work and to submit evidence to MISTQ. To facilitate strategic partnerships between national and locality structures and ensure that data is collected, analysed locally, used for local quality improvement work and fed into MISTQ Experiential Team and other relevant partners. Being based within SRC ensures a joined up and creative way of affecting change alongside an organisation dedicated to building recovery from addiction in Scotland.
