We have a unique opportunity to within Stirling Council to become our first Network Support Modern Apprentice. This role will start with learning the basic administrative duties to support the Network Management officer and then learn how to operate & update the information management systems to be compliant with legislation. This information can include logging names of new streets and public utility information. The successful candidate will therefore have a very keen interest IT systems and how to use them but also be able to read ordinance survey maps to be able to assist with the Local Street Gazetteer (LSG) and National Gazetteer (NSG). You will also be involved in issuing permits, invoices, answering phone calls and any other duties required to support the Roads. The successful candidate will work towards a Business Administration SCQF 5 and complete bespoke training for the information management systems. You will be 16-19 years old and be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm this role and have a commitment to learn. This opportunity is funded through the Modern Apprenticeship scheme and candidates between 20-29 years old may be eligible for enhanced funding if you have a disability or are care experienced.
