Occupational Therapist- Paediatric

We are looking for an enthusiastic paediatric occupational therapist to join our expanding team of therapists. Are you passionate about helping children reach their full potential through direct intervention? Do you prioritise empowering parents, carers and teaching staff to maximise students functional ability? Do you want to work in a well supported and nurturing environment which allows you to grow professionally?, We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist who has experience with sensory processing differences.

Part time opportunities are available in our supportive and innovative team for 1-3 days per week, depending on the desired working pattern of the candidate. The clinic is opened 7 days a week, including evenings.

You will have proven skills in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of children. You will be motivated to keep up with best practice guidelines. You will be as passionate about your job as we are and you will have the ambition to provide the best service for our students.

Experience:

• occupational therapy: 2 years (required)


Language:

• English (required)


Licence/Certification:

• HCPC (required)


• RCOT membership (preferred)
  
  The Muir Practice is made up of experienced and dedicated team of independent Speech and Language Therapists and an Occupational therapists who provide the highest level of care in a safe and nurturing environment.


What we do

• We specialise in comprehensive speech and language assessments and tailored speech therapy services for both children and adults


• We provide occupational therapy assessments and assistance for children who require support in improving their daily living skills or are encountering challenges related to sensory processing difficulties


• The Muir Practice carries out autism assessments for children aged between three and 18 years and provide support beyond the assessment


• We provide and deliver tailored training, workshops, and lectures in speech and language therapy and occupational therapy for nurseries, schools and other professional establishments


• For those located further away we provide therapy and support through telehealth
  
  £37.50 - £75.00 an hour - Permanent, Part-time, Salary is dependent on experience but compare favourably with NHS equivalent band rates
