Full Job Description

  • Perform walkthrough of processes to identify key risks and controls for the audits in the 2024 plan the candidate will be supporting.

  • Conduct design effectiveness and operating effectiveness testing (either through sampling or outcomes testing).

  • Document test results and conclusion from testing.

  • Validate actions/issues raised in prior audits.

  • Support Manager/Senior Manager in continuous monitoring activities.

    To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Prior experience in Audit or Second Line/Assurance reviews.

  • Experienced in enterprise risk management or operational risk.

  • Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals at all levels.

  • Ability to build constructive and effective stakeholder relationships.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical, problem solving, organizational, decision-making and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently within broad guidelines and complete assignments timely.


  • The base location for this role is Edinburgh and with a hybrid working pattern.
