Full Job Description
- Perform walkthrough of processes to identify key risks and controls for the audits in the 2024 plan the candidate will be supporting.
- Conduct design effectiveness and operating effectiveness testing (either through sampling or outcomes testing).
- Document test results and conclusion from testing.
- Validate actions/issues raised in prior audits.
- Support Manager/Senior Manager in continuous monitoring activities.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements: - Prior experience in Audit or Second Line/Assurance reviews.
- Experienced in enterprise risk management or operational risk.
- Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals at all levels.
- Ability to build constructive and effective stakeholder relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical, problem solving, organizational, decision-making and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently within broad guidelines and complete assignments timely.
The base location for this role is Edinburgh and with a hybrid working pattern.
