Part time, Night Shift hours available

A 39 year old man with MS, living in the west of Edinburgh, is recruiting for his team of personal assistants, to help him with personal care, domestic and social support, to live independently in his own home.

The team covers support 24/7 and you will be asked to work night shift from 8pm to 7am.

The employer is mentally very able but will require assistance with all aspects of daily living. He cannot weight bear and uses a wheelchair and a hoist for transfers. (Training will be given).

He has an excellent sense of humour and appreciates when others do too. He enjoys most kinds of music from AC/DC to classical.

Previous experience supporting someone with a disability is preferred. However, it is most important that you are a caring person with good communication and listening skills and who would be most concerned with the safety and happiness of your employer.

You must be reliable, trustworthy and punctual, in order that his daily routine runs smoothly.
