Part Qualified Accountant

Anderson Knight is currently looking to recruit an excellent Part Qualified Accountant for our long standing client based in Motherwell. Due to their continued growth, they are now seeking to expand their team with ambitious, driven individuals who have experience and an interest in a future in Accountancy.

We are looking for an ambitious individual to join one of our reputable clients and gain invaluable further experience in accountancy, whilst studying towards a higher-level accounting qualification. You will be supported by one of the Firm’s Partners, who is an experienced Chartered Accountant.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience in an Accountancy Practice and will relish the challenge of developing into the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial accounts, management accounts, and other financial reports.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Provide support in the preparation of tax returns and liaise with tax authorities.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their financial objectives and offer strategic advice.
• Keep up to date of changes in financial regulations and ensure compliance.
• Work closely with senior accountants and partners to contribute to the firm's success.

Requirements:

• Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in a similar role within an accountancy firm.
• Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
