Meraki Talent are working alongside a well-known accountancy firm in Dundee on the role of Part Qualified Accountant.

The Role

As a Part Qualified Accountant you will ideally already be working towards an official accounting qualification (ICAS or ACCA) or be willing to begin your journey to qualification.

You will have the opportunity to work with clients across a wide range of sectors and sizes.

• Preparing management and statutory accounts for various owner-managed enterprises, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Preparing Personal and Corporation Tax computations.
• Communicating with clients through email, phone, and in-person interactions to foster productive relationships.
• Guiding and supporting junior team members through coaching and assistance.
• Staying informed about current accounting standards, as well as corporation and personal tax regulations.
• Continuously engaging with clients to deliver a proactive service.
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a cohesive service delivery to clients.
• Efficiently managing workload to fulfill deadlines.

Experience

• Part qualified CA/ACCA or possessing equivalent experience, with at least 2 years of working experience in an Accountancy Firm.
• Familiarity with CCH, Xero, Sage, and other cloud systems is preferred.
• Proficient in preparing sole trader and FRS102 Limited Company accounts.
• Demonstrates a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients and colleagues.
• Possesses excellent attention to detail and maintains a high level of accuracy.
• Capable of managing workload independently and proactively meeting tight deadlines.
