Salary £35170 to £43357 per annum pro rata (plus generous staff benefits package)

As part of our commitment to meet and respond quickly to the needs of our students we wish to appoint inspirational, knowledgeable individuals to join our bank of temporary lecturing staff to deliver a range of Computing subjects across all levels of our curriculum.

As part of our teaching team, you will prepare and deliver high quality teaching and assess students against relevant frameworks whilst providing appropriate support to ensure the best possible learning experience for our students. You must be able to communicate effectively whilst working as part of a dynamic team. You should be confident utilising relevant software and digital technologies and be able to integrate these into your teaching. 

Candidates must be highly creative, organised and passionate about supporting and motivating our students and hold a qualification at SCQF Level 8 (e.g. HND) or above in a relevant subject area.   You must have experience of one or more of the following: Cyber Security, Databases, Networking, Data Science.

Previous teaching / lecturing experience is desirable, however, if you are new to teaching, we will work with you to support you in this exciting career change. Successful candidates must be prepared to work towards a professional teaching qualification. Full details of the skills and qualifications required can be found on the employee specification.
