So, what's the job about?
This is an exciting new opportunity for a driven and energetic individual to join a well-established and friendly team at our Glasgow site. Using your administrative skills, you'll become part of an enabling function within Marley, supporting the business towards its goals. You'll achieve this by providing a payroll service which complies with Company policies and Government requirements. Your focus will include HR admin support to the MCS management team and managing all PAYE related matters.

Additional tasks may include:

  • Process and reconcile weekly payroll.


  • Check & submit weekly EPS to HMRC

  • Compile month end payment schedules for HMRC & Pension and reconcile nominal accounts.


  • Book CSCS tests and apply for CSCS cards.

  • Requesting references for new starters and completion for ex-employees

  • Processing starter/leaver/change of employment paperwork

  • Leavers, salary information, employee numbers etc.

  • Maintain training records on Qualsys system.

  • What skills are required?
    Previous experience working within a similar function will put you in a strong position to be successful in this role. We use Sage & Eque2 as our main tool for handling and using data, any experience using this will be advantageous but don't worry if not as training will also be given. You'll need to be a confident communicator and love dealing with people at all levels and from all walks of life as you'll be liaising with colleagues, management, and clients daily.

  • Ability to organise own workload and meet demanding deadlines and targets.

  • Positive and flexible approach to work

    Monday - Thursday 08.30 - 5pm and a 3:30 finish on a Friday
