Full Job Description

The role of Performance Coach presents an exciting opportunity for the post holder to contribute to the development of the Performance Pathway for amateur golf in Scotland.

Each Scottish Golf Performance Coach will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive Women's or Girl's squad training and competition programme, preparing individuals and teams for National and International competition.

The Performance Coach will work alongside the players and personal coaches to develop an individual plan for each player. In addition, the Performance Coach will report on player progress to the Scottish Golf Performance Team and work with supporting staff as required.

The role will work closely with a number of stakeholders including players, parents, national coaches and a number of key external groups.

This role requires an enthusiastic, team worker who is a great communicator with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.

Scottish Golf is seeking two driven Performance Coaches to contribute to the Scottish Golf strategic goal of Growing the Game, Nurturing Talent who will work with the Performance Team to develop and deliver the National Women's or Girls' Performance programmes.
