Personal Assistant - 30 Hours Per Week (SDS / BM / 270113) - Maternity Cover

We are assisting our client to recruit a Personal Assistant to provide support to a young female adult with their physical needs and personal care and to ensure that she has an active and enjoyable day by trying to stimulate her with different activities. You will be required to:

• Take her to her clubs and fully assist her whilst at the clubs (ie swimming, Disco, Multi-sports, crafts etc).



• Administer her daily medications to control her epilepsy or giving emergency medications to stop a seizure.



• Prepare meals and helping her to eat and drink.



• Physically support her (she is unstable on her feet and therefore requires full supervision at all times) if outside the house, she will need the support of your arm/hand to stabilise her. A wheelchair is available if longer distances of walking are required.
  
  You must also have a driving licence and access to work car.


Be physically active and able.

Epilepsy emergency medication and previous of working with young disabled adults preferred.
