Personal Assistant - 5 Hours Per Week (Afternoons and Evenings) (SDS / KR3 / 276497)

We are supporting our client to recruit for a personal assistant, our client is a 39 year old female who has severe ME and allergies. She is looking for assistance to support her to build routine and encourage her to try new things.

Initially she is confined to her bed and needs help to transfer to bathroom from a wheelchair etc but can transfer herself so only requires supervision. With various health needs our client requires understanding and sensitivity to building a connection and trust whilst undertaking tasks.

Our client would prefer an afternoon and evening visit as she has sleep issues but she is happy to discuss this further with the right candidate.

Applicants must have a caring attitude, have a good sense of humour, be reliable with a positive and flexible approach to work. Happy to discuss the breakdown of hours and split these if preferred.,

• Provision of personal care


• Meal prep, shopping assistance and cooking


• Assisting client to have a wash down, bath; change clothes.


• Light housekeeping


• Medication assistance
  
  Due to the personal care elements of this role an Occupational Requirement applies. This is permitted under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.


PVG required - This role requires an enhanced check through PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups).

Hours of Work:

Friday evenings - 7.00pm - 8.30pm
Sunday - 12.00pm - 2.00pm and 7.00pm - 8.30pm

Our client is happy to negotiate timings.
