Full Job Description

As a Personal Injury Litigation Assistant, you'll be supporting case handlers by undertaking both complex admin and case handling duties, in order to progress cases to and throughout the court process. Familiarity with Court of Session and Sheriff Court (Personal Injury) procedure is a requirement of this role. This is a busy and demanding role, where duties are diverse and no two days are the same. Working in a small team of experienced Litigation Assistants, you'll liaise regularly with a wide range of clients and professionals, both over the phone and in writing. Whether arranging meetings, seeking medical reports or simply chasing information, you'll need to show a sensitive and professional approach at all times.

You'll be carrying out various tasks such as reviewing evidence, managing data and preparation of legal documents within set guidelines. You'll need to be experienced in multi-tasking and keeping to tight deadlines. Whilst planning and prioritising will be the key to your success, you'll also need to be flexible and quick to respond to requests at short notice. You'll be experienced in following set guidelines and processes, but with the ability and confidence to use your own judgement where required., Our responsible business programmes are fundamental to who we are and our purpose. We're committed to being a diverse and inclusive workplace where our colleagues can flourish, and we have established a number of inclusion network groups across our business to support this aim.

Our commitment to Social Responsibility, community investment activity and tackling climate change is a fundamental part of who we are. It's made up of four strands: Our People, Our Community, Our Environment and Our Pro Bono.
