We are looking to recruit  a pharmacy assistant to help deliver the pharmacotherapy service of the Scottish GP contract in Helensburgh.

You will join an established pharmacy team responsible for delivering medicines management and pharmacy input to a range of primary care settings.

The posts will be part of the team working in the locality providing onsite & remote input into practices.

We are keen to hear from people who wish to work on a part time or full time basis.

We are looking for enthusiastic and proactive individuals to join us. You will have have good attention to detail, good interpersonal and organisational skills, competent communication and keyboard skills.

Full training will be provided and further development opportunities within the team will be available over time.

The post will involve travelling to a number of locations so a full, current driving licence and use of own car for work purposes is essential.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay.  This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.  This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours.  However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.  If you have any questions or concerns please contact the Recruiting Board.
