The shift pattern for this position is 5/7.

Within South Sector the AHP teams work together supporting each other to ensure we produce high quality care for our patients.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Surgical/Critical Care Service on a permanent basis.

It is essential that you are educated to Diploma/Degree level in Physiotherapy while being registered with HCPC. You should have significant post graduate experience with previous clinical experience in an Acute /Surgical /Critical Care area.

This post involves a complex and varied caseload incorporating patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge planning. You will be clinically responsible for rotational staff, support worker staff and students, inducting, training and managing staff on a daily basis and delegated tasks from Team Lead. You will lead in service development and service change within the team. You will be actively encouraged to develop through your 4 pillars of practice while participating in CPD, audit and research.

You will be required to participate in the physiotherapy emergency on call and weekend rota.
