Plant Fitter

Leiths (Scotland) Ltd are currently seeking to recruit a Plant Fitter for the maintenance and repair of our wide range of plant and equipment, you will be based at our workshop in Rigifa, Cove however regular visits to other sites is a requirement of the role so you must hold a current driving licence.

These roles require a great degree of independence, extensive experience in fault diagnosis and repairs as well as an ability to work on your own initiative.

The ideal candidate will already come from a mechanical engineering background ideally with demonstrable experience as a mechanical engineer or fitter in the heavy plant or quarrying industry.

You will be a team player who is equally comfortable working alone to meet the demands of this busy plant maintenance division. Attention to detail along with a focus on Health & Safety is vital for this challenging role.
