Plant Operative, Market Stance, Benbecula (3792) - CNS04608

You will undertake all duties associated with the processing of waste at the Comhairle's waste processing facility at Market Stance, Benbecula including: operation of process control equipment; operation of static or mobile plant; operation of mechanical and electrical systems on site including the inputting of data on to a computerised system; operation of site weighbridge; operation and maintenance of site civic amenity area; various driving duties.

You must have experience of operating heavy plant, machinery or process equipment whilst CITB Certificates are desirable. You must have the ability to work on your own initiative, be able to work co-operatively with staff and customers, and have an adaptable approach to work. It is essential that you have a clean, full UK driving licence. An HGV licence is desirable., Disability Confident
