Full Job Description

  • Lead playroom operations, ensuring a high-quality, safe, and stimulating learning environment.

  • Design and implement engaging educational programs tailored to children's developmental stages and interests.

  • Manage and support a team of dedicated childcare professionals, fostering continuous learning and growth.

  • Foster strong partnerships with parents, maintaining open communication and community engagement.

  • Advocate for best practices in childcare, adhering to legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure individual needs are met and support early intervention where necessary.

  • Identify and organize relevant CPD opportunities for staff.

  • Report to Chairperson and Management Committee.

    BA in Childhood Practice (or working towards it), Are you passionate about early childhood education? They are seeking an experienced Playgroup Manager dedicated to creating a supportive, engaging, and secure environment for our young learners., BA Childhood Practice (completed or working towards it) / equivalent qualifications recognized by SSSC.

  • Extensive experience in early years education.

  • PVG Scheme Membership and SSSC registration.

  • Profound knowledge of the Curriculum for Excellence.

  • Essential certifications: Child Protection Level 4 and Paediatric First Aid.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and nurture teams.

  • Training and experience supporting children with additional needs.

  • Exceptional communication skills.
