Principal Electrical Engineer - Building Services

You'llbe working for a successful multidisciplinary consultancy based in Motherwell,who are looking for an experienced Principal Electrical Design Engineer to jointheir Building Services team. This consultancy works on a variety of projectsacross Scotland's Central Belt as well as UK wide, operating across commercial,residential, Industrial, education and more sectors.

Your new role
You'llplay a key part leading the Electrical Design team and will be at the forefrontof multiple projects as well as have the opportunity to mentor junior teammembers. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Designing and developing Electrical systems for building services projects.
• Preparing technical reports and specifications.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Collaborating with other engineers and architects.
• Mentoring junior team members.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Electrical design engineering on Building Services projects.
• Strong knowledge of Electrical systems and building codes.
• Excellent communication and business development skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
