Principal Shock Test Engineer

As a Principal Shock Test Engineer, you'll have a role that is out of the ordinary, leading in analysis, stakeholder engagement, and providing management and hands-on support for shock lab operations.

Day-to-day, you'll:

• Liaise with customers to understand test requirements and generate bids


• Lead the technical delivery of shock test programmes


• Analyze and interpret test results, ensuring compliance with customer requirements


• Operate and maintain the shock facility, directing day-to-day operations


• This role is full-time onsite
  
  Essential experience of the Principal Shock Test Engineer


• Strong background in customer-facing roles, adept at stakeholder engagement


• Hands-on experience in testing or technical fields, particularly in shock testing


• Proficiency in relevant computer applications for shock testing and data analysis


• Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and analyze shock test programs


• Familiarity with instrumentation, electronic/mechanical testing, and test improvement methodologies


Qualifications for the Principal Shock Test Engineer

• HNC as a minimum essentia


Desirable qualifications for the Principal Shock Test Engineer

• IOSH certification


• First Degree in relevant field
